Dolores Cano is a Leadership Consultant and part of the School Improvement and Texas Instructional Leadership teams. She is responsible for supporting districts with school improvement process. Ms. Cano is also part of the Effective School Framework diagnostic team. Prior to joining Region 18 Educational Service Center, she spent 30 years in Midland ISD as a Teacher, Counselor, Assistant Principal, Principal, and District Family Engagement Coordinator. Ms. Cano attended Sul Ross State University and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education in 1989, Masters of Education in Counseling in 1994, and her Masters of Education in Administration in 1999.
