Christine Pallarez is a Reading Consultant for Region 18 ESC. Christine has been in education for 13 years. She started her career with Presidio Independent School District as a 2nd-grade teacher. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Sul Ross State University and a Master’s in Education as a Reading Specialist. Before joining Region 18 she taught at the elementary and middle school level for Andrews ISD. She served as a 2nd-grade, 3rd-grade, and Reading Specialist for Kindergarten. She also served as a Dyslexia Therapist for middle school students. She is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and taught students online with Dyslexia On Demand.
