Carol Arrieta is a Secondary ELAR consultant for Region 18 Education Service Center. Carol has been in the field of education for 23 years. Before joining Region 18 she taught Study Skills, Texas History, and English as a Second Language for Midland ISD and served as the Secondary EL Supervisor and Director of Secondary ELAR. She has a passion for learning and supporting teachers as they strive to improve outcomes for students. Carol received her Bachelor of Arts degree, Master of Education with an emphasis in Reading, and her Principal Certification from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin.
